How our painting and decorating service works

Site visit and quote
We visit the property, walk through the rooms and inspect the walls, woodwork and ceiling condition. We note anything that needs prep work, cracks, damp patches, damaged plaster, before a fixed price is agreed.

Prep and protection
On day one, dust sheets go down, furniture is moved back and surfaces are sanded, filled and primed. Good prep is the reason a paint job lasts. We don't skip it.

Painting
Coats go on in the right order with the right product for each surface. We cut in neatly, keep edges clean and check the finish in different lights before moving to the next room.

Final check and clean-up
Before we leave, we do a walkthrough with you, touch up anything that needs it and remove all dust sheets and materials. The room is ready to use the same day.

How much does it cost to repaint a room in London?
A single room, walls and ceiling including prep and materials, starts from £900. The final price depends on the condition of the walls and woodwork. Stained or damaged surfaces need extra prep and materials, which affects the total. We visit the property first and give you a fixed price before any work starts.
Do you charge a day rate?
No. We work on fixed price only. You know the total cost before we start, no day-rate surprises at the end of the job.
Do you paint exterior as well as interior?
Yes. Exterior painting can cost more because some jobs require scaffolding. We assess the property, include all scaffolding costs in the quote, and the price you agree is the price you pay.
Do you cover central London and North London?

Do you do plastering as well?
Yes. We skim and plaster before painting when walls need it. That means one team from prep to final coat, not two separate bookings.
How long does it take to paint a room?
A standard room, walls, ceiling and woodwork, typically takes one to two days depending on the condition of the surfaces and how much prep is needed. We give you a realistic timeline when we quote, not an optimistic one.
Do you move furniture before painting?
We move furniture to the centre of the room and protect it with dust sheets. For heavy or fragile items, we ask that you clear these before we arrive. We put everything back in place when we leave.
Can you match an existing paint colour?
Yes. If you have the original tin or a sample of the colour, we can colour-match it. We use trade suppliers with mixing capabilities and test the match on a small patch before committing.
