2. The Personal Data We Collect
We only collect the personal data that you provide directly to us through this website.

If you contact us through the website contact form, we collect:
- Full name
- Email address
- Message content
We store this information in our database and keep an internal status for each enquiry, such as new, in progress, resolved, or spam.

Technical Position
The public-facing website uses Google Analytics 4 in a cookieless, privacy-first configuration, with Google Consent Mode set to denied by default. No cookies, localStorage, or sessionStorage are stored on your device, and public visitors do not receive cookies. We collect only anonymous, aggregate statistics — which pages are viewed, how visitors arrived, approximate location (country, region, or city), and the type of device and browser used. Approximate location is derived from your IP address in transit; the IP address is not stored and is not used to identify you. We do not identify individual visitors and do not use this data for advertising, profiling, or remarketing. The aggregated data is sent to Google, which acts as our data processor. Google Fonts are self-hosted at build time, so the website does not make live font requests to Google when you visit it; analytics data, however, is sent to Google's servers as described above.
3. How We Use Your Personal Data
We use contact form data to:
- Receive and review your enquiry
- Respond to your message
- Manage and track the progress of your enquiry
- Help reduce spam submissions
- Keep an internal record of communications
We use newsletter subscription data to:
- Add you to our newsletter mailing list
- Send newsletter emails where we have a valid legal basis to do so
- Maintain unsubscribe records and avoid sending further newsletter emails after you unsubscribe
4. Our Lawful Bases
Contact Form
Our lawful basis for processing contact form data is legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR. Our legitimate interests are: operating our business; receiving, managing, and responding to enquiries; preventing misuse of our contact form, including spam; and keeping appropriate internal records of communications. We consider this use proportionate and within the reasonable expectations of people who contact us.
Newsletter
Our intended lawful basis for newsletter emails is consent under Article 6(1)(a) UK GDPR. Under PECR, marketing emails to individuals generally require consent unless a specific exception applies.
Cookieless Analytics
Our lawful basis for cookieless analytics is legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f) UK GDPR. Our legitimate interest is understanding how the website is used so that we can maintain and improve it. Because no information is stored on your device and individual visitors are not identified, we consider this use proportionate and within the reasonable expectations of people who visit the site.
5. Whether You Have to Provide Your Data
You do not have to provide personal data to us. However, if you do not provide the information requested in the contact form, we may not be able to respond to your enquiry. If you do not provide your email address for newsletter signup, we cannot add you to the newsletter list.
6. Storage and Retention
We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy, including to manage communications, maintain business records, comply with legal obligations, and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Contact Form Data
We retain contact form submissions for as long as necessary to handle the enquiry, keep an internal record of the outcome, and deal with any follow-up issues, disputes, or legal claims. Submissions marked as spam may be retained for a limited period for review purposes.
Newsletter Data
We retain newsletter email addresses while the subscription remains active. If you unsubscribe, we may retain limited suppression information so that we can respect your opt-out request and avoid sending further newsletter emails. We may retain data for longer where required by law or where reasonably necessary for legal claims, regulatory purposes, or fraud prevention.
7. Sharing Your Personal Data
We do not sell your personal data. We may share personal data with service providers who process data on our behalf, including:
- Our website and database hosting or infrastructure providers
- Our email service provider used to send contact form notification emails
We may also disclose personal data where necessary:
- To comply with a legal obligation
- To establish, exercise, or defend legal claims
- To protect our rights, property, systems, or users
8. International Transfers
We are based in the United Kingdom. If our email service provider or any other processor we use processes personal data outside the UK, your personal data may be transferred outside the UK. Where this happens, we will ensure that an appropriate safeguard is in place, such as an adequacy regulation, the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, or other lawful transfer mechanism.
9. Automated Decision-Making
We do not use your personal data for automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
10. Children
This website is not directed at children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children through this website. If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, please contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.
